MIMI LAM I Queen of Cannabis + CEO Superette

Superette I Mimi Lam is CEO + co-founder of Superette, a cannabis retailer and lifestyle brand in Canada with awards for Top Startup & Top Retailer, and Mimi winning the Women in Weed Trailblazer award. 

Starting life as a shy, sheltered young girl, Mimi learned to back herself and at 25 years old she did what everyone thought was crazy - left her cushy corporate banking role to work at a startup in an an industry she didn’t know - cannabis. She became Director of Corporate Development at Tokyo Smoke and was the brains behind the finances, supporting and negotiating their sale to Canopy Growth for $250 million dollars. When offered a high paying job at Canopy Growth, Mimi instead decided to make another grand leap and back herself. She co-founded and launched her own cannabis and lifestyle brand, Superette. 

Mimi talks about trusting her gut and what it takes to make big leaps, and how her journey from leaving corporate for a startup and then to entrepreneurship gave her permission to truly be herself.
